MLM sucks

Monday, August 15th, 2005

today i had the shittiest day this year. it was 10.50pm and we were about to close shop. i was at the cashiering counter, taking my last order before my 20 mins break, when about 300 people from the lamp berger convention/meeting/arcane gathering came out and literally swamped the store. i couldnt move from my post, nor sip some water till about 11.40. that’s nothing. went for break, came back, tilled out, closed the shutters and started working the outdoor cafe area. it was HELL. idiots in smart suits didnt know the meaning of ‘we’re closed’, and that was way past 12.00, which is an hour after our designated closing time. pretty looking marketing whores were still explaining the concept of multi-level marketing and the 1st tier to young 20-something ah bengs. of course they didnt understand a word of english because they were chinese-educated. nevermind. went out, cleared some empty tables, went in with a bucketload of trash, came out again to see those tables that were cleared less than 5 mins ago dirty again. wtf. began to ask people to leave (this was already around 12.45 so dont sue me for chasing customers away) and they still didnt budge from their seats. nvm. began closing all of the umbrellas and arranging the chairs that were empty. aggressively. some left. hooray! going to each table to tell them that we’re closed, even more left, but after 10 mins of discussion on how to build your base empire. bah. got pissed, that i went in and asked zac (zekri) for a fag to ’smoke the mosquitoes away’ in a very loud, croaky voice (throat-not-moist-enough) so that those educated dumbos will take a hint or two and remove their asses. nobody budged. well then, i was partiucularly pissed with this woman, whom after i swept the floor, dropped a tissue, ours at that, on the floor right in the middle of the doorway! WTF. >.< lowlifes that dont even know manners, is this the real face of MLM companies, the people who actually protray that their products are high-classed (lamp berger mah) acting like street urchins that overstay their welcome? blithering idiots, the lot. and there was more but im too pissed, even now at them. get a life! stop selling useless stuff! nobody’s going to use them 3 months after purchase! dont torment any barista who’s closing anymore! pryramid schemes make you lose more money than you think! I-D-I-O-T-S!!!! that goes for alken, omegatrend and other MLM companies. you try to pimp stuff to me, i rip your throats apart.

on a lighter note, i met my long lost sis, sham before (well, i just came on shift and 10 minutes early, at that) and i was really surprised, seeing her. thought she went to ireland already or married, or just got fed up of uitm or stuff. turns out she’s VERY fine and is now living just a stone’s throw away in ss7….damn, that’s really a coincidence! well, that, and me first meeting her on her birthday 4 (or issit 5 years back?) which was, coincidentally was the day that i shifted into town. alot of coincidences (i hate typing coincidnwesdsd, long word)  between me and her, her dad’s a planter, my dad was a planter (i think), we lived in estates for most of our childhood years….bla bla bla….thinking of meeting her this thurs, after training with CK, we’ve got a lot to catch up on, but then….its been a long time too since i saw my wife….(darn, choices, choices, for everything else, ther’s mastercard, of which i dont have. bummer.) so, catch up on a long lost friend, or catch up on human husbandry? probably, since im quite of a polygamist, and a certified weird person, i could take jo out to see sham….hmmmmmmmmm. should ask tatarajah about this.

crikey, its now 3am, i should be sleeping, according to matchbox 20, but ive got some stress releasing to do, and here comes the 5 deadly tracks! ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

oh yeah, not to mention, fellow forumer kylie pmed me today…..yeah, i miss you too!!!

guess what? i spotted a TVR cerbera speed 6 last night on the subang x-tra large u-turn heading towards the fed, and subang airport. it was black, low, and BEAUTIFUL!!! like a latino in a silky dress flirting around in the traffic…..i spotted the taillamps first, and instantly knew that it was a cerbera because no other car in the world has those 80’s design headlights with led pinpoints in them (or are they not leds?) anyways, it was darting in and out of the traffic with an orange Gen.2 in hot pursuit at around 80~100km/h (i didnt look at the speedometer) but it was fast, bearing in mind that we were driving along the banked S corners that lead to the fed from subang. it was craaaazy, those two, and of course the gen.2 could not even smell the tvr’s tailpipes when they hit the fed because it sped off, from a rolling start about 120km/h, into the distance in just 2 blinks of the eye. probably because it was black in colour, and that didnt help much :P and earlier today when i went for breakfast, i saw this classic 355 tessarosa (maybe something else, i only keep track of porsche’s model numbers) parked outside the neighbourhood corner shop. darn, it was still in tip top condition, engine sounding reaaal great (V8 i suppose) and here it is….the classic schoolboy pin-up
Picture1_2ferrari. sorry i couldnt take any photos of the tvr, though, for it was

- too dark, my camphone wouldnt snap it
- too fast, at 100km/h on a banked corner, are you mad!?!?

so feast your eyes on this baby, im gonna beat the rain to get to work now ;) its raining!!!!!

edited, Mon, 15 Aug @ 4.33AM:
okay, its not a 355, but it is a tessarossa 512 with a v12 engine…. LOL i got my ferrari facts wrong, sue me.

hazy days are no more!

Saturday, August 13th, 2005

well its good to see that the haze is out of the window and everybody’s optimism is back, well, most of us anyway….some of us are heading for greener pastures, which i am happy for them, and some of them are happier with what they are doing and such. its always nice to know that people are in a good mood, because you can expect that there will be lesser problems, or porblems that were there will be solved, or long forgotten. this brings less stress to everyone’s life.

i just came back from the store to settle some stuff, as well as to hang out for a while with one of my car freak buddies, poor him, he had quite a rough journey for the past few weeks and his future is quite uncertain, but i know he will pick himself up and look forward into the future, and i feel happy for him. bravo and accolades for you, you know who you are =D

as for me, its the same training and work that has been going on, but having said that, i am looking forward to a few things mainly

  • my paycheck
  • the WCG prelims next next week
  • the intercollege finals @ wcg
  • dungeon siege 2
  • paying all my bills and debts off

well, im utterly optimistic about the last one because if i clear that last financial hurdle within the next month, i could do something nice to my car, which i have sadly neglected for the past few days due to the haze, and well, my current financial situation >.< i just love my car (not for the fact that its practically free, but that it has been long with the family) and i hope to keep it for as long as i can, for nostalgic reasons. after all, with more than 300 thousand kilometers on the odometer, that’s a rare feat for a family car because most families would get rid of the car after a decade or so, but this one just goes on and on. sure, it has some new organs transplanted, like its modern radiator, gearbox, brake servo/pump, shocks, and whatnots, but the rest of the car is a proud 100% stock and untouched from the day it left the factory. the air scoop for example, is still factory fresh, so are the mudflaps, suspension arms, antenna, wiper arms, rims, chassis (like, duhh) and that’s quite an achievement for a proton saga, bearing in mind the quality drop ever since the 3rd gen iswara and the 2nd gen wira was launched, and the appaling tiara (well, most of it was renault’s fault, anyway). and having said that, proton did make some really good models, like the 1st gen satria GTi, the putra, the limited edition 1.8 wira which is more like a mini-lancer evolution with its powerful (and thirsty engine) and, surprisingly the juara which, although butt-ugly, really fufills what it’s made for-driving in the town. i guessed you realised that i never mentioned any of the new generation cars, where proton’s emblem changed from a stylised malaysian flag in a triangle to the tiger’s head in a triangle because the cars were in fact, a bit boring.

case = waja. its ancestor the evo 6, handles better than all other stock proton cars, but then it became the ‘kereta pasar’ or the basic soccer mom car. (dad would probably drive a camry) just look at the amount of married women (and also single ones) driving the car on the fed, as well as around the local market. and it has a bone-jarring suspension as well.

case = 3rd gen perdana (or 2nd gen perdana V6). i loved the perdana V6 when it launched, because it shows that class and elegance and a hint of sportiness can be bought at an affordable price, but just look at the alfa romeo wannabe that is the brat now. it looks like an alfa, but does it drive like one? and what’s with the agressive stance with rims that looks like a war chariot’s wheels? the older V6 looks sublimely agressive without even trying. its paying more for a ‘ganas’ car which turns out to be as soft inside as what an executive saloon should be: comfy, roomy, elegant in its own way. which in fact, was what the original perdanas are.

case = Gen.2. its engine cheated us, there was no camshaft profiling technology, the plastics were, astonishingly brittle, showroom car door handles broke off during the first 3 days when it was launched, uncomfortably-ratioed gearbox, and a boot no larger than my own saga’s. sad.

no more proton bashing anymore because i think they did a good job on the savvy. except for the boot lid which reminded me so much of the waja’s face. nice looking interior, dashing lines all over the car (boot included), fun, and cheap, too. best part of all, it looks deceptively small outside but there is ample room inside for 4 adults unlike a kembara/kenari, which is essentially a 2+2 at most, but big on the outside.

hell, i was supposed to type down a list of things to work out on my car, and i nearly forgot, so here goes =

  • steering boss loose - gotta tighten or swap the whole unit (around RM45)
  • steering wheel wrapz (RM10)
  • another cd holder (RM6)
  • philips visionplus 4300K halogen bulbs (around RM200)
  • check out the crunching 3rd gear in the gearbox (amount unknown)
  • gearbox mount (the mechanics didnt put it on when they swapped it, amount unknown)
  • new wipers (RM28 each, from champion)
  • carbie cleaning additive (to get the rough idling out when the engine is warmed up - RM15 from STP)
  • new sound system (hopefully the blaupunkt initialD offer is still on - RM499)
  • repair the odometer (trip mileage meter died)/replace the in dash meters with luminescent ones (probably around RM150++)

and that’s about it, unless i go bonkers and rip out the suspension and swap it with new PU bushings (superpro) and coilovers from tein (RM2000-4000), and an air-ram filteration system from K&N (RM150 onwards), short throw shifter (RM120) re’ketuk’ the body panels and respray with pearl orange (RM5000++), v-kool tint, 45% blockage (RM1200) and last but not the least, Rays Volk Racing lites 15" rims with bridgestone potenza or yokohama advan neos (will-break-bank)

OR

i could send it over to Top Gear and get it pimped by lotus like that lada back in season 2. jeremy clarkson, i would kiss your feet if you did that for me =D

its sad to see that most relationships are breaking down this year….it was so bad id call it ‘the year of the breakup’ if we ever had a calander based on the chinese astrology calendar..i have known about 4 close friends who had a breakup, 2 nearly had one, and 1 buddy of mine has his on the rocks..*sigh* not a bad sign, but as for me….well….its up to her to decide ;) not being a pessimistic or something, but well, who knows what will happen when you’re a million miles away and you dont keep in touch often, but then again, it might be my fault that i am distracted by many many things this year (work, tournaments, personal stuff) that this might be the busiest year id have, for instance, i cant really juggle between work and training sessions so id have to take more days off in a week than usual, and that already makes my pocket lighter at the end of the month….but then i like to race, not because of the money, but maybe its because that i feel that i am somebody rather than i nearly was somebody. and that makes things a whole lot better to me. probably i have an attention deficit problem somewhere in my mind, probably i make excuses up to cover my own weaknesses but i am someone instead of others who were and sitll is nobody but think that they are somebody. sheesh.

i dont understand why these type of people like to hang around other people’s circles constantly, one circle at a time, feeding on gossip and juicy information like parasites while causing trouble along the way. i cannot grasp the intentions of these people, why they exist in such a way, doing more harm than contributing to the society, and yet they live doing that. or should i say, they live to do that. arrrrgh get off my back you demons! is shall turn into thrall and slay you with my mithirl hammer, smashing thy skull into thousands of tiny bits so small, you will not feel the pain when your vision blacks out and your body falls to the ground like a dead leaf.

i need to find a new direction in life, hopefully not leaving my real friends behind. truthfully ive done that time and time again, probably because for some insane reason that is hiding in the deep dark, murky depths that is my memory. hell, i could remember going to mimaland at 5 but couldnt even remember what i did during my early years in school and high school. bugger me. wish i was amnesiac so i could forget the past and move along, something like john doe (the series) but not being a smart ass like him because people hate smart asses, which i probably was…and still is.

anyways, enough of the depressing talk, on a lighter note, ive some cool jazz/fusion tracks from fourplay and that is what im playing now in my car on the way to work and when im driving along, feeling bored. like the other day, i was rolling along down the federal at around 4am when i couldnt sleep and i was so dead bored, i had to waste fuel just to relax. not that i have the songs on the pesocon, but sometimes, its nicer to listen it from the CD itself, and besides, the computer was running 4 torrents *ahem* and i was too lazy to disturb, and liberate it from the boring number crunching and pinging. after all, its doing its purpose in life (hahahaha, im meaaan)….well, among those torrents was a rare gem, howl’s moving castle with english subs. for those not in the know, howl’s moving castle is a movie from studio ghibli which brought us my neighbour totoro and laputa : castle in the sky as well as kiki’s delivery service. they rank high on my list of quality anime, along with sunrise and gonza and a few others whose names ive forgotten. watching the screening was a bomb, because ive been waiting for the DVD release for ages already, and it being released in japan last year made it that too long a wait. other than howl’s, ive watched stealth on the silver screen recently. it was, as a matter of fact, a little bit boring, storyline wise. like knight rider of the skies. without david hasselhoff of course bwahahahaa. BUT the action scenes were nice, i couldnt think how they managed to take off and land those 3 stealth jets on the USS abe lincon. unless they had a flyable airframe already in the works, it would probably take CGI to do that, and a lot of synching just to get the timing right with the steam catapults and stuff, and the engines, too…looked like an aston martin’s rear headlamps with leds on the perimeter. other than that, the automated stealth plane looked fugly. well of course it had the best of the best and looked like the Joint Strike Fighter (at least in its capabilities) i couldnt imagine how the air got into the ramjets with puny little intakes like that, and furthermore, it looked too sleek to be stealthily enough, compared to the nighthawk.

all in all, it has been a long day, and im blabbering like a complete idiot already with more typos than i could care correcting, so ja-neh, piggy’s gotta go sleep, but not until ive checked ned’s xanga to see the latest news….

the hazy days of summer aint what it used to be

Tuesday, August 9th, 2005

got up at around 11 this morning, thanks to mom, who called to remind me to get her a book about the origins of asian festivals for my aunt in holland….i went down and realised that the haze was sooooo bad, the living room was literally browned out. >.< i never did get a picture for the crappy cam on my mobile was too grainy and it didnt help that visibility was down to almost 400m, which…is BAD. i wonder why the papers dont report the air index anymore. probably its due to the appalling quality that the meteorological dept. is ashamed of. probably kwa….hence the title of this post…in the good old days, there were hazy days but none quite like this. it seems that the indonesians have increased their annual burning ca-pita to more than 3 billion square feet. maybe more. a lot more than what they were burning, lets say…..10 years back. i have a theory for this phenomenon, which might hurt some indonesian egos along the way, so if you’re jiwang indon and love saying ‘ganyang malaysia’ stop reading this and do us a favour and surrender to blair as one of the subway bombers.

my theory is that since the end of the confrontation (high school stuff, really, the confrontation) they have been plotting a different type of confrontation on a grander scale, that is to burn an increasing amount of dead trees every year (they have tons of the green stuff) while the winds are blowing our way, so that they could, little by little cripple the economy every year, and at that, slowly kill us all by making us breathe contaminated air (who knows what else they put inside the bonfires?), so after a few decades, we would all be dead of dying and they would return to what they started in the past - to reunite the malay archipelago under one flag….which leads us to 2 tiny problems = singapore and brunei. who knows what will they do those prosperous countries…probably the action plan has already been started. went to a major college for further studies? met indonesian nationals there? how many? i myself have been to one and found out that they come in staggering numbers every year….crack troops perhaps…..maybe sleeper cells. one thing i realised, though, is that the ‘enemy’ has really good looking ones among them, really REALLY good looking ones and it would be hard to resist the alluring charm that they posses….and…you know, yadda yadda bing badda boo, and who knows, i might just do that.

fact is, though, i know many indonesians here, especially in the sunway and ss15 areas where colleges are the hotbeds of hot passionate intercountry love, and most of them are really nice, not some billionare (in rupiahs, of course) kid who comes to malaysia just to enjoy life, but i have known the average indon who knows how to work for a living. and that’s good, because we need more skilled labor…..instead of lazy malaysians.

ignorance is bliss

back from yumcha with the closing partners, ned (xanga.com/nedaznir), hadi, li yong and sandra @ SS2, sandra as usual, was whacking a large plate of rice, hadi was constantly on the phone with his new girl, and ned, well…..he’s hyper today LOL anyways, this post isnt about them, they’re just the jolly bunch of people at work, but this is about the stikfas post. never again i will play around with image settings as they really screwed up the whole entry. i would probably start posting ala newspaper style where you have the text wrapped around and a space below the image for the caption..probably a line or two. darn html coding i guess, but i wouldnt want to republish it because it will serve as a reminder NOT to be lazy in the future…hahaha

night, world

PCfair spoils and the story about stikfas!

Monday, August 8th, 2005

and so i promised in the beginning……..and i shall deliver!

the spoils from the pcfair (II) 2005 starting from the hardwarezone lime green wristband, a kingston paper clip, this very nice ATI lanyard + exhibitor’s tag, and also, a brother’s note holder

also, the latest version of Gameaxis Malaysia (with the all important WCG supplement), aaaaaand,
Picture9Picture7

this…………………………

so for those in the know, a pat on the back for being one of the lucky few that had a glance of it. and for those who have it, i hope that washing this isnt a bitch because it needs some ironing, too…*whistle*

enough of the showing off, on to the stikfas story….

basically the brand was introduced (actually, it is made,) in singapore a few years back, but it had low penetration in southeast asia as most of the little critters were exported to the western world. the earlier ones can be found in the Emporer : Battle For Dune game boxsets unassembled in a silver wrapping as a marketing promo, then came comiccon, the san diego toy convention where it was launched, officially with quite a bang to my understanding (disclaimer = all that was written here is from memory, which, can get rusty)…so all and all, eventually the figurines themselves were made by the toy company, MR Bany.J, and marketed worldwide by hasbro, except for a few fine examples, like the 001 black alpha male military (in the pic, box on the left)
Picture2

also in the pic, the first supervillan set, which was distributed by Hasbro then…

all in all i have had around 4 or 5 of them, mainly the mechana segmented robot (black), G2 yellow male blisterpack, supervillan set, pre-hasbro military male and probably i could gather them up for a photoshoot one day, with the new AFKs that i’m eyeing right now, but for now, for more latest info on the company and the family, head on to www.stikfas.com to get the full monty. and for comparision reasons, here’s the pcfair sikfas, that huge blue G1 (i could tell by the leg joints) and my supervillan *nyahahahahahhhahahahahaaa)

so that’s all for now, kev’s gonna go out to COD some stuff…..jaa-neh!

PCfair 2005 pt.II

Sunday, August 7th, 2005

sunday. last day of pcfair…
so i was rushing from work towards the taman bahagia lrt station today, and found out that my car is actually low on power….especially during idling after firing the engine, which is really really dissapointing considering that i added STP’s carb cleaner treatment which worked miracles for my aunt’s honda accord 88′ hatchback sport. bloody 1.8 liters in almost 1 and a half tons of metal… =.=" but given the rough startups, i still love the smooth revving engine…nice. if only i could add a supercharger from turbo sang, which i cant, because i have a carbie engine, and which according to a mr.gerard on the ZTH forums, has weak internals…well im no automotive engineer, but i do listen to advice (occasionally =P), so the next best thing to be bestowed onto my car are dual carbs from mikuni and better breathing and exhaust systems (no turbos, waste of time and cash for a 1.3 liter engine..bah). now if only i had the money……

well on to the story….got on the lrt this time, and dissapointingly, there really wasnt a large crowd in the carriage..or bombardier (the name of the model/manufacturer) as i like to call it….like i would usually call the small feeder busses the Dart, because the name fits it perfectly, anyway…so, no 8 way massage for your friendly green ogre today, but i reahed klcc in a record time. 1 hour and 45 mins from the store to the doors of grand ballroom 1 on the 3rd floor. i hanged out for a while at the samsung booth before changing into my super alter green muscular smelly ego, Thrall. bwahahhaa…i went about most of the time unsupervised today, which was a first for me and any mascot i have ever known in malaysia (the really good ones, that is, take the O2Jam and the condom mascot for instance..), and surprisingly too, because i wasnt even paid to do it, so there was more of a risk of me running off with the costume LOL.  so there i was hanging out in front of the samsung booth, scaring young and old alike, and roaring till my throat went dry while giving out some cutie little samsung pens..i’ll post up the pics tomorrow, havent taken them yet =P

about those samsung pens…they remind me of…well, frankly speaking, dildos from japan, the ones with super vibrator mode with the ball bearings inside *shivers* and basically i had a ball of a time, and one of the part-timers guided me towards the center of the ballroom, where i took a break by breaking away (sorry for the pun) from him and slowly climbed up the steps towards the samsung stage….and surprised everybody by moving (ableit clumsily) to the beat. hehehehe i just had to do it, and the promoter girls were stunned, the DJ was stoned, i continued to move till at a point where the DJ regained control of his stage and i had to go down and out of the stage, s-l-o-w-l-y. it (the stage) and the steps were really shoddily built and the steps would collapse anytime from the weight of the suit. well, i did trip a few times around the samsung booth, but luckily i didnt fall, only a fair amount of destruction was made to the banners and stray chairs and stuff.

so after another photo session with the samsung girls (which were not as pretty and as outstanding during the klcc roadshow last year) i hobbled over to the intel redemption booth. hobbled because of the never-ceasing crowd, which in fact, was down from yesterday, but still, a lot compared to last year’s sunday pcfair. to give you a hint of the huge success, pendrive sold 2000 1gb pendrives within 5 hours or so. 2000 pieces! holy crap! well considering the fact that they sold each at 170 ringgit, which is really, the bargain of the century (for me at least), is still a feat in its own league. do the math, and really, if you want to know, i heard the profit margin is below RM10. at least it was last year….remember the sudden price drop? enough of that insider dealing, back to my story where at the intel booth, one of the part timers there, a guy, from the moment he saw me, kept on attacking me non-stop with punches and headbutts. hell. wtf? i didnt even recognised him and here i was recieving a beating helplessly in the (roomy punchbag) suit. no choice but to use my mithril hammer then. god, they should really tie him up…. >.<""""""""

after hanging out there for a while (i was still a bit dazed from the attack) i headed back for more photo opps along the way back to change. oh yeah, upon arriving at the WCG section of the samsung booth, i switched off moon*’s monitor for extra fun. and played with his mouse. and tried to shut his pc down with the hammer (because i couldnt bend) but failed. next time, moon, next time :D so i changed and headed out, cooled off for a while talking to june and the nice lady in pink at the booth, and while typing that out i forgot to add a few things during the last orc stint so ill just list em here.

  • Ah Tan’s wife pulled my hair (Thrall’s hair-lah)
  • many other low lifes pulled my hair too
  • an idiot poked my butt. bloody pervert.
  • i scared 4 kids and 2 adults today
  • shaked hands with lovely pretty young ladies and not their boyfriends
  • not sure of how many people touched the suit to check if im real or not (of course, you blithering idiots!)
  • i did not do something bad to the LG booth =(
  • saw ethan and chong from In2
  • saw lynette and her husband, too, the other chong (if my memory serves me correct)

later, went down and peeked at eddy and chatted with the guys at HWM and spotted a really tall promoter girl for ATI (basically their promoter girl), she was about my height, and although she was wearing heels, she should be in the 5′ 8"s so that’s one really tall lass. i went up again to give the WCG spec pcs a test drive and found out that they lag, even in quick race mode. irritating. the last thing i want to happen is the same thing that happened with my race with forza @ the CELgames just recently. so i got a few laps on observatory and found that i suck. big time.

lol just joking, bwahahahahhahaa

so i got bored and since they wanted to see me drift, i showed them the way to do it, with a max of 200k points down lighthouse in a skyline with everything except for turbo at level 3. not bad, not bad, and with understeer settings at that….BUT i’ll say it again, id rather drift with the s2000 anytime anyday. after all, its DA BOMB (topgear owners survey tops 2002,3) and i did that for a couple of times till i got really bored and left the pc and started to wander around. aimlessly. like a headless chicken without the noise and acting until i found myself in hall 4 again, at the hwm booth. yeah, im boring, and nerdy. call me that, but only when i have that blue HWM/CELgames sponsored shirt on. yeah…….well, i got that with a decade’s worth of subscriptions to HWM and gameaxis and i think nobody should get that instead. hahahahaha yeah, im really happy today, mainly for 2 reasons =

  1. ive got the blue shirt, but more importantly,
  2. the thrall legacy lives on (but with a damaged costume)

aint that just great? okay, i spent the rest of the evening there till the cows went home, courtesy of a tag i found on the floor, which, ironically had the booth numbered 444. life’s like a box of chocolates, ma…and there i was, sitting down on a metal folding chair while the rest of the HWM team went packing up at around 9pm. and yeah, the usual pcfair tradition of shouting till your lungs came out of your mouth happened just before closing time, with heng encouraging them to ta chiew (fight)…lol this boss is great fun. later when everybody left for the loading bay, i helped eddy get his server down to the car, and had dinner at the mamak nearby (forgot the name pulak)…he had nasi briyani ayam and me, nasi goreng USA. frankly speaking, his briyani was worth it with lots of rice, the customary pickels and nicely kunyit flavoured, fried chicken at 7 ringgit compared to my USA which had an ayamas deep fried drummet, an egg, a teaspoonful of baked beans in tomato sauce, greens, and a small bowl (moulded) of fried rice at around RM6. id rather take quantity over choice when it comes to food, so eddy’s briyani won hands down. oh yeah, we were waiting for his gal, who was still at the samsung booth, waiting for the contractors to tear it down.

so after dinner and a couple of oxygen sticks, all was ended and we headed home with moon in tow…whom we dropped off first, then he (eddy) fetched me to the lrt station which i am really grateful for.

probably time for me to get some zzzzz’s too. FIFO tomorrow’s gonna kill me standing. erk.

wtf…friendster officially scares me now…..

Saturday, August 6th, 2005

ok, so i did it….i had and itchy finger and clicked on random profiles. you know on every other profile it shows how you are connected to each other, right? i didnt know how effective the friendster engine was until i clicked on Feiyee…..
the results?

now that’s a scary list. out of all the 1st and 2nd degree friends i have, i know that most, if not, all have met each other but still, they know the same people that are their 1st degree friends and have this Feiyee as a 3rd degree friend….
in other words, Feiyee, if you read this, you are one popular girl. and friendster, if you do get around to read blogs on your server, you’re dead scary sometimes….
